LABOR REPORT: Graduate Students Push for Expanded Workplace Rights

The University of Massachusetts employs around 2,500 Graduate students. Their union, the Graduate Employee Organization, has been renegotiating their contract with the administration since July. WMUA spoke with Avery Fürst, the Mobilization Coordinator and member of the bargaining committee, and Santiago Vidales, GEO steward from the Spanish and Portuguese department, about the renegotiation process.
