Anti-Racism, Anti-Police Brutality, Pro-Community Empowerment: an interview with Santiago Vidales and Neelofer Qadir

On October 1st, 2014, a rally took place in front of the Student Union, at UMass Amherst in solidarity with Ferguson, MO, and against racism and police brutality. Two of the rally’s chief organizers, Neelofer Qadir and Santiago Vidales sat down in the studio with Despina Durand to talk about how the rally was organized and what their hopes are for the future, with regards to solidarity against state violence and anti-racism action, on campus.
